With 1,225,000 strawberry plants purchased and produced annually across the United Kingdom, Dyson’s research team explored how natural strawberry dyes interacted with various materials. This led to the creation of a wide range of colors and tones, with the final pigment selected as the result of this research. The complex shade of pink, tinged with red, peach, and orange, captures the essence of a single strawberry, producing a one-of-a-kind hue. Further inspired by nature, the blue-toned buttons complement the sapphires, creating a striking contrast and highlighting key technological features.

Dyson’s most advanced hair dryer yet, powered by Nural™ sensor technology, measures the distance between the dryer and the scalp to maintain a consistent temperature. In this mode, the dryer automatically reduces the temperature to 55°C — the optimal temperature for the scalp. The speed of drying increases as the dryer approaches the scalp, thanks to a timed motion sensor that projects an invisible infrared beam to measure the distance.

Capsule Lighting Signals Heat Settings

When in Scalp Protection Mode, the LED capsule light changes color to indicate the heat setting: cool blue or yellow for low heat, orange for medium, and red for high heat, depending on the distance between the dryer and your scalp.
