Tate McRae is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated new album, So Close To What, by unveiling her third single, Sports Car. The track, which continues her signature moto-inspired pop style, officially dropped today, January 24, following a teaser trailer that generated major buzz among fans.

Late last year, McRae sparked excitement during her tour by previewing snippets of her upcoming album in a Sydney car park. During this time, she revealed the album’s title and release date, heightening anticipation among her global fanbase.

The multi-talented singer, dancer, and songwriter announced that her third studio album, So Close To What, will be released in February 2025. Ahead of its launch, she has already dropped two singles from the album, 2 Hands and It’s Ok I’m Ok, both of which have been met with praise from her audience.
